Jaquian Williams, the Giants cornerback who forced Williams’ second fumble, said afterward, “We knew he had four concussions, so that was our biggest thing, was to take him outta the game.”

So the Giants were purposely targeting Williams because of his concussion history? That makes me sick and almost turns me off of football completely. 

As a sports fan that’s played football and many other contact sports, like many others, I’ve always maintained that one day, when I have kids, I’d love to submerge them into sports and cheer them on. But reading things like this scares the crap out of me. Human beings intentionally going after others in an attempt to injure them (and in this case, a very serious injury) in hopes of winning a game? Disgusting.

Never too early to talk about the off-season for the 49ers, as you can see my title is called real gold only because last year it was “fools gold”. Well they earned it.. win or loss from this NFC championship vs the Giants. The Niners is a young team that has super potential and a contender for years to come.  The one thing that people fail to recognize is football is a team sport.. and yeah i did blame kyle Williams for the the loss but you have to dig deeper than that..No one talks about the offense going 0-13 on 3rd down conversions right? Yeah Kyle Williams didn’t help but at the same time it’s not all on him.

So i do support 49ers re-signing Kyle Williams but at the same time they do need to draft a skill position of a WR or CB. It’s pretty clear besides Vernon Davis no one has the big play ability.  I’m pretty close to labeling Crabtree as an underachiever and the only way to help raise up his game is to draft a high profile WR or bring in new WR’s that will hopefully help Crabtree. Release Tedd Ginn and Brett Swain.

CB: Our rush Defense is the best in the NFL however I can not say the same for our pass defense.  The last two games of the season, our secondary was lit up. need a cover corner that has length and that can play coverage specifically man for man. Carlos Rodgers was handled pretty well and often by Victor Cruz. Speed has proven to kill the 49ers secondary and now it’s the time to bring some more depth. Release Spencer
